Basic information
Report type
Six (6) types of reports are available.
The main difference lies in whether transactions must be reported or not.
Depending on the selected option, the form will adapt accordingly.
Version 5.0 introduces a new feature within transaction‑based reports: Transaction reports - Adding suspicious activity
With transactions:
- Suspicious activity report (SAR)
The reporting entity has not identified suspicious transactions but has other information suggesting money laundering. This type of report applies in particular to financial institutions that have no transactions to report. It also applies when negative information is revealed about a client through a KYC tool or in case of a refusal to enter into a business relationship.
The code (<report_code>) for this type of report is SAR.
- Suspicious transaction report (STR)
The report is triggered by one or more suspicious transactions. This type of report must also be used when a suspicious transaction was attempted but not executed.

- Terrorist financing (with or without transactions)
the indication of one or several indicators is mandatory.
Save the report
