Suspicious activities
Reports with Transactions – Adding Suspicious Activity
Starting with version 5.0 of goAML, reports with transactions (STR/TFTR/RIRT) include an optional Suspicious Activity section. This means that you can now enter transactions and enter objects (person, entity, account) independently of those transactions.
Note: It is not necessary to enter Suspicious Activity information with objects (person, entity, account) if these are already provided in the transactions. If you do provide them again, please make sure to enter them identically, so that goAML recognizes them as the same object voir How to use an existing object + Essential data for the different types of objects).
Examples:
- The account provided in the transaction is not held with your institution.
Therefore, you should not enter any entity linked to the account (t_entity) nor any person(s) linked to the account (signatory).
If the person and/or entity is your client and a suspect, and you cannot enter them in the transaction, you must enter them in the Suspicious Activity section. - A person and/or entity is indirectly linked to a transaction.
You enter the transaction, and then, in the Suspicious Activity section, you enter the person and/or entity.
- A person or an entity has several accounts. Only some of these accounts have carried out transactions. You may enter the accounts that have not carried out any transactions under the Suspicious Activity section.
