Accessibility
The body making the statement, the Financial Intelligence Unit (Cellule de renseignement financier - CRF), is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites and mobile apps. This accessibility statement applies to: https://crf.public.lu.
What is digital accessibility?
Everyone should be able to easily use and consult the information on a website or an app, including people with disabilities (e.g. visual, hearing, physical, cognitive disabilities) and/or people using assistive software or specialised equipment.
Compliance status
This website partially complies with European Norm EN 301 549 and the Web Accessibility Assessment Framework (RAWeb) v1, which implements that norm, for the reasons given below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
Non-compliance
- Some of the 'title' attributes of links do not exactly reproduce the visible title, but they still allow the destination of the link to be understood.
- Language changes are not indicated or are inadequate on some terms.
- Empty paragraph tags are used in text contents to define spacing.
Disproportionate burden
Not all office documents available on the site necessarily comply with the EN 301 549 V3.2.1 standard; the volume of documents to be processed to achieve compliance is significant and would require disproportionate resources. However, we undertake to provide an accessible version of content upon request and on a case-by-case basis (please refer to the 'Feedback and contact information' section).
Content that falls outside the scope of the Law of 28 May 2019
- Downloadable documents provided by third-party administrations are not under our control.
- Documents published before 23 September 2018.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 16 October 2025. The information contained in this statement is accurate and based on an assessment of the compliance of this website with the requirements laid down by RAWeb 1, such as assessment carried out by a third party – in this case, Idéance.
Control process
Websites created within the framework of Renow are developed within a generic and centralised context and architecture, following project management processes, while respecting the Renow checklist. To ensure neutrality, we regularly call upon 'accessibility' experts to check the compliance of the websites and any new features.
Each website is assessed in several stages:
- When content structure is designed.
- When graphic and functional mock-ups are produced.
- Just before content is put online.
Once the website is online, checks are performed as follows:
- whenever new content is created, the author checks access to all of the content before it is published;
- each new feature of the website is assessed before it is published.
During assessment, the website is tested with the main screen readers, on tablets, mobiles and PCs. It is also tested with different web browsers (compatibility up to 2 versions below the current version).
Staff skills
The work procedures incorporate the application of Internet guidelines at the different stages of website production (creation, management, development).
Our employees have the knowledge and skills required to correctly apply the Internet guidelines.
Feedback and contact information
If you notice an accessibility issue, please email us at accessibilite@crf.public.lu and describe the problem and tell us which page it concerns. We commit to replying to you by email within one month at the latest. Within reasonable limits, the correction of the accessibility issue will preferably be carried out online such as to remedy the problem in a sustainable way. Should this not be possible, the information you requested can be made available to you in an accessible format of your choice:
- in writing in a document or email;
- orally in an interview or by phone.
Enforcement procedure
Should the reply be unsatisfactory, you also have the option of informing the Information and Press Service, the body responsible for supervising accessibility, by filling out its online complaint form, or the Ombudsman, the mediator of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
