Can goAML be used in Chrome?

Yes.

Internet Explorer is no longer supported. Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge are officially supported, and Safari should also work.

 

Will it be possible to indicate the activity for which we are submitting the report? Accountants may also act as trainers or work under a different activity (linked to a business license).

Unfortunately not. We will discuss this point with UNODC.

 

In the current version, I don’t see the history of my reports. They appear in ~removed by cleanup~, same for letters older than 4 months ~removed by cleanup~. Will the history be accessible?

For data protection and security reasons, we decided to delete data from goAML Web after a certain period. We will not change this policy.

The list of submitted reports remains available. If needed, you may save (print to PDF) the preview of your submitted report with all its contents, as shown during the presentation.

 

Has the logout system been modified so that clicking the “logout” button at the top right logs us out completely (LuxTrust session also closed)?

In the new version, only the online form has been updated; the other functionalities in goAML Web remain unchanged.

A link on the goAML homepage (shown during the presentation) allows you to log out completely, including your LuxTrust session. This allows you, for example, to log in with a different certificate.

Regarding personal information: in the case of a SAR for a falsified identity document, we are forced to enter false information. What should we do?

Please enter the information, but specify in the narrative that the person is a victim.

 

Are there automatic controls on the fields, for example on SWIFT, etc.?

In goAML Web, the controls are basic (e.g., number of characters in a field, valid email address structure). We have additional controls in the internal goAML system.

 

For life insurance: when a movement occurs on a contract, the counterparty of the payment is the insurance company itself. How should the “Funds originating from” or “Funds destined to” fields be completed?

As a law firm, must we still go through the Bâtonnier, even with the new form?

Yes.

 

Could you please explain how to create an XML document containing 700 transactions?

This depends on your IT system, and your IT staff should be able to advise you. If you need more specific information, please contact our IT team (you may use goaml_helpdesk@justice.etat.lu).

 

Is the list of indicators available online somewhere, including the indicator numbers?

Yes. Under IT Topics, in the “Lookup values” section, the “report indicators” tab in the French and English Excel files contains this list.

 

In Transactions, the “Balance” field is mandatory, but as an insurance company, what should we fill in?

The “Balance” field should not be mandatory. This is an issue with version 4.7, for which we opened a ticket with UNODC.
While awaiting the fix, if this field is required and you do not have the information, the tooltip now instructs you to enter zero in this field.

 

Regarding identification, is it now possible to use the same LuxTrust certificate for different entities, so we don’t need dozens of certificates?

Only the use of « delegations » allows you to connect to different entities with the same certificate. If this does not apply to your situation, unfortunately, multiple LuxTrust products remain necessary.

 

Has the 500‑transaction limit per XML file been removed in the new version of goAML?

In the current update: no.

 

How can we change our company’s goAML administrator?

Your current administrator can assign the administrator role to other registered users.
If your administrator has left your company, please contact our helpdesk, which can perform this update.

 

Will my old reports still be available in goAML?

The archiving rules remain the same. If you have reports in “draft” status, switching to the new version will only result in the drafts opening in the new form structure.

 

If we are already registered on goAML, do we need to register again to access the training?

Is it possible to easily retrieve all our reports submitted over an entire year?

You can find the list of reports under “Submitted Reports” (a one‑month filter is applied by default → change it to one year).
However, the content is archived according to the usual rules.

 

Can we register multiple LuxTrust certificates for the same entity, to ensure that someone is always able to submit a SAR/STR?

Absolutely. Here is the procedure.

 

Must the LuxTrust certificate of the declarant always be a natural person? Is it possible to use a corporate profile and token—for the bank rather than the MLRO?

LuxTrust certificates used in goAML always authenticate a natural person.

 

We can only submit declarations online. Are the XML developments still valid (XML file splits automatically after 500 transactions, STR becomes RIRT for next XML, etc.)?

Yes, XML declaration features remain valid. XML transaction files are simply an additional (more basic) way to add transactions to a manual declaration.

 

Are the personal data of individuals submitting SARs/STRs transmitted to foreign FIUs?

No!

 

As a law firm, since we cannot send a declaration to you directly and must go through the Bâtonnier, how should we send the declaration to the Bâtonnier?

After preparing and saving your declaration in goAML Web, you must contact the Bâtonnier according to the Barreau’s procedure and inform them which declaration is ready to be sent.
