Wrong report type
When you submit a suspicious activity report, it must be completed using the report type Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) or Suspicious Transaction Report (STR).
The Feedback (Retour d'Information) Report without/with transactions (code RIRA or RIRT) must be used exclusively when responding to a FIU request for information.
For more information on the different types of reports:
A report submitted as RIRA or RIRT will not receive a closure letter. Therefore, and in order to ensure proper follow‑up, the report must be resubmitted as SAR or STR.
It is not necessary to re‑enter all the data. Simply go to the goAML menu “Submitted Reports”, then, depending on the case, “XML Reports” or “Web Reports”, locate the relevant report, and save the report (XML file) using this button . Then open the file (e.g., in Notepad) and modify the line containing RIRA or RIRT, replacing it with SAR or STR, respectively.
Next, save the change and upload this file in goAML under “Submit a report” → “Upload XML file”.
Note: You have 7 days from the submission of the report to carry out this operation. If the report has already been archived, unfortunately you will need to re‑enter it manually.
