Registering a new Reporting Entity

In order to register a new Reporting Entity: goAML

First, you must register your LuxTrust product (one-time registration).

Once the LuxTrust product registration has been completed, you can register yourself as a reporting entity.

This registration consists of two steps, namely indicating:

• the reporting entity
• the natural person linked to the reporting entity – who will become the goAML administrator of the reporting entity. This is a technical term that designates the person(s) who have the widest access rights in goAML

Both steps are completed on the same page.

Account type

In the production environment, only the option Reporting Entity is available. To select one of the other two options, you must contact the FIU.

Registering the Reporting Entity

Account of the reporting entity

• Type of reporting entity lists the different professionals subject to the reporting obligation, as defined by Article 2 AML/CFT Law. For more information on these categories, please refer to the websites of the supervisory authorities. There is also a type Person not covered by the law.
• Name refers to the business name as listed in the Trade and Companies Register (RCS). For reporting entities who are natural persons (e.g. lawyers or notaries), the name refers to the first name and last name of the reporting entity (e.g. Firstname Lastname). Depending on the type of activity, it may also take forms such as “Etude Firstname Lastname” or “Real Estate Merchant Firstname Lastname.”
• RCSL number (mandatory for a company)
• Email must be provided with great care. All notifications intended for the reporting entity will be sent to this address. If you want notifications to be sent to multiple persons, we recommend using a distribution email address, e.g. service-compliance@test-bank.lu.
• We suggest entering as Contact Person the individual who is carrying out the registration of the reporting entity and who will identify themselves later in the same form. This field is mandatory.
• Legal form
• Trade name refers to the commercial name under which the reporting entity operates.
• For Luxembourg entities, the City (registration) field is generally Luxembourg.
• Country of registration refers to the country in which the reporting entity was registered (generally Luxembourg).
• Name of the parent company
• URL
• An Address must be provided (you may enter several) in the dynamic field (using the “+” button). Do not forget to validate the address using the “Add” button; otherwise, it will not be saved (see Addresses).
  The registered office is mandatory for legal persons.
• A Telephone number must be provided (you may enter several) in the dynamic field (using the “+” button). Do not forget to validate the number using the “Add” button; otherwise, it will not be saved (see Telephone numbers).

Registration of the natural person linked to the reporting entity

This part of the form provides the data of the user who is registering the reporting entity. This user will receive the role of goAML administrator, which can always be changed.

The form does not require particular comments:

The fields:

• “Username”
• “Password” and “Confirm password”
• “First name”
• “Last name”

are pre‑filled by LuxTrust authentication.

WARNING: If you encounter the following error when submitting your registration: “Email address already provided…”, please apply the following workaround.

Under “Attachments” you can upload a document certifying your function within the reporting entity. Adding such an attachment is mandatory if you register using a private email address.

Waiting for a confirmation email

Once your registration request has been submitted, it must be validated by the FIU.

After validation by the FIU, you will receive an email containing, among other things, the following information:

The information Reporting entity identifier is essential for another user, authorized to access the reporting entity’s account, to be able to register.

Registering a lawyer in goAML – particularities

It is possible to register as an administrator or member of several reporting entities. However, a different LuxTrust certificate will be required for each reporting entity. In other words, you will have one LuxTrust PRO certificate per reporting entity for which you act.
