E-Money wallet

Account number

The number of the electronic money wallet must be entered without spaces.

SWIFT or Identifier – swift or institution_code

If the issuer of the electronic money wallet has a SWIFT code, it must be entered.

Account holder name

Account type

Electronic money wallet

If the electronic money wallet belongs to a client AND is relevant to the report you must fill-in the values for all possible fields, including the entity related to the account (if applicable), and the person(s) related to the account.

Example:

If the electronic money wallet does NOT belong to a client NOR is it relevant to the report, the values for the following fields must be provided:

  • Account number
  • SWIFT or Identifier (institution_code)
  • Account holder name
  • Account type

In this case, please do not provide values for: "Account Owning Entity", "Other Related Entity(ies)", "Related Person(s)"

If only one email address is known:

In this situation, the email address is used as the account number. You must provide the SWIFT code of the payment service provider and the (presumed) account holder name.

Example: For an activity report involving a PayPal account, the XML will look like:

<accounts>

<account>

<swift>PPLXLULL</swift>

<account>bad_guy@gmail.com</account>

<account_name>John Smith</account_name>

<personal_account_type>E</personal_account_type>

</account>

</accounts>

where personal_account_type = 'E' represents an Electronic money wallet.

The same approach applies to other payment services such as Western Union, Payconiq, etc., making sure to select the appropriate account type where applicable.
