The CRF recently updated its guidelines. These guidelines constitute interpretative standards for the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing system. The purpose is to clarify the scope of the legal and regulatory provisions in force and to facilitate their application by the reporting entities. As such, they provide guidance on the implementation of due diligence and reporting obligations, particularly with regard to the detection of anomalies, the analysis of elements that may give rise to suspicion, and the procedures and deadlines applicable to reports.
